Roots & Rhythm Social
Western Roots Dance Society Members Only
Service Description
Western Roots Country Dancing will provide a weekly lesson with social dancing afterwards. Starlite Swing Tuesdays is a welcoming, instructor-led country swing class built around connection, community, and shared movement. Each evening includes one hour of guided instruction followed by one hour of open dance, creating space for dancers to learn together, practice comfortably, and connect with others on the floor. Instruction primarily focuses on Country Swing, with lessons shaped by the needs, experience levels, and interests of the dancers in attendance. Emphasis is placed on partner connection, musical awareness, floor etiquette, and building confidence in a supportive, social environment. Held most Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:30 PM at the Story Mill location, Starlite Swing Tuesdays is designed to feel approachable and inclusive—whether you’re brand new or returning to the floor. This class is included with the Western Roots Swing Society membership and is available only for designated membership offerings.
